It seems few of us can escape working in some form of a team if we are to survive in modern organizations. Working in teams can often lead to better decisions than those by people working alone; of course, it may also be true that while stupid mistakes are made by individuals, truly colossal mistakes are only made by teams. In this talk, we will look at what makes for effective teamwork in high-pressure contexts, and in particular how to realize the great potential of diversity in such contexts.
