Business Forum "Sustainable trade & logistics networks between the Nordics and Baltics" on Thursday, 14 October 2021 from 15:30-17:30 (EET) organized in connection with the Nordic days 2021 in Ventspils.
The Forum aims and focuses on the green transition and CO2 emission reduction in the international trade and logistics in the Nordic-Baltic region, including near-shoring and shortsea solutions that would address critical issues when it comes to post-Covid economic recovery and move towards to more climate neutral economy and logistics.
The sea is an important element in Latvia's economic development strategy. In the context of the ambitious goals set forth by the European Green Deal and the Nordic efforts to strive towards Carbon Neutrality, the Nordic Baltic Business Forum: Blue Ocean Strategy is launched to put in dialogue relevant stakeholders in Latvia and the Nordics to define possibilities for public and private partnerships between local municipalities, ports, shipping companies and energy producers aimed at implementing more integrated & sustainable regional trade networks.
Organizer: Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia
