Team Finland China is organizing a webinar for Finnish companies about the business impact of the recent trends in Superpower relations to give better understanding of future business climate, when trading between EU, China and US.
The session opens with Finland Ambassador to China, Jarno Syrjala’s opening remarks.
This is followed by Jens Eskelund’s, Vice Chairman of EUCCC, insights of EU-China relations with the title EU-China Investment Agreement – what to expect when implemented? Jens Eskelund is also Managing Director at Maersk China Ltd., the investment company of the Maersk Group in China. Jens Eskelund is a former Chairman of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China as well as the Maritime Working Group of the EU Chamber of Commerce.
China-US relations will be enlightened by Kyle Freeman, Partner in Dezan Shira & Associates with the title How Will Trade Relations with China Change Under the Biden Administration. He will give a review of Phase 1 Trade Agreement progress, an update on US’s China related sanctions, and an overview about key issues and outlook for China trade policy under the Biden administration. Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Kyle worked in government relations and China trade policy for various public and private organizations. His work included assisting in high-level, U.S.-China bilateral trade dialogues and organizing public-private cooperation programs to promote U.S. and foreign investment in China
