FBC Golden partner Wärtsilä launched Digital Acceleration centre in Singapore last Tuesday and Wärtsilä also opened the first International Maritime Cyber Centre of Excellence in the world. FBC event - register open last 2 days
October 25: Open Innovation in Singapore with Wärtsilä Acceleration Centre visit. More and more companies have shifted from so-called closed innovation towards a more open way of innovating, including customers, partners, start-ups and academia into their development.
In this Finnish Business Council event, you will hear more about Open Innovation in Singapore and specifically how companies like Exove Design, KONE and Wärtsilä are developing new products and services. The session will be organized in Wärtsilä’s brand new Acceleration Centre – the facilities for co-creation – so you will also have a chance to have a tour there. Register here.

Finnish Film Festival 2018
October 19-21: Finnish Film Festival. Finnish Film Festival is back! We had a great opening night with a fully booked screening on Thursday the 11th of October. You still have opportunity to see great films this weekedn! Check out the program and the festival trailer!

ScandBizBar 2018 Next ScandBizBar event is held on Thursday, the 1st of November 2018 at 360 Lounge. Join us and bring your colleagues along! And the last ScandBizBar 2018 event will be exceptionally on Tuesday, the 11th of December.

Independence Day Reception 6.12
Embassy of Finland to Singapore invites FBC members and friends to be a partner and a sponsor at the Finnish Independence Day Reception on 6.12 in Singapore. After last year’s amazing Finland100 Independence Day party at the Gardens by the Bay, we at the Embassy feel that we should celebrate Finland also on the 101st Anniversary, even if in smaller scale.
 The Independence Day reception will be held on Thursday, 6th December from 19.00 to 21.30. It will be a buffet reception with Finnish food and drinks. We aim at having 300-350 guests from the Singapore political leadership, business, trade chambers and councils, diplomatic corps, media and influencers in the Singapore society.
