Hope you have had a great holiday season and have charged your batteries for the challenges in the year of the Boar!

Our first event in 2019 is the traditional "Shinnenkai" (New Year) Club Evening at the FCCJ Office on Wednesday, 30 January, see more details below. We only have a few slots left so if you plan to attend and have not yet signed up, do so now. Note that due to space restrictions, this is a member only event.

In this issue we have the first publicly available information on an exciting project, the Experience Finland Pavilion at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The project will be officially unveiled in Finland on 23 January but find out details of the project below already now.

We are working on our event in February, but we have confirmed one event for March, the Stora Enso Cup which spring edition is played one month earlier this year, on Friday, 15 March. Read more below!

Our "Aoyama View" columnist has provided his first article for the new year, simply titled: "New Year News Review".
