FBC events May 29: FBC Corporate member BD Asia Consulting will give an insight into "Communicating Across Cultural Boundaries - Business Culture Difference and Negotiation in Asia". Ms Gao Bo will share insights how to interpret Chinese-speaking business culture and comparison with Nordic culture, from respect for traditions, relationships, communication codes, etiquette – what are the best practices and rules when interacting with your counterpart of Asian as clients, suppliers, peers and team management. Two experienced leaders will discuss with Ms Gao after her keynote and share their knowledge on how to be a European leader in Asia. Join us by registering here.

FBC member Actxa invites you to join the new programme
Actxa invites you to participate in a 6-week Community Engagement Program, you’ll get to contribute valuable insights into the planning and refinement of their latest breakthrough innovation of Actxa Glo. The Actxa Glo is a heart rate tracker featuring Pre-M™Diabetes, a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring technology that predicts your blood glucose levels based on your heartbeat data. To get started, please complete the questionnaire by 15 May 2019. Actxa will inform you if you are selected for the programme. Every participant will receive a free fitness tracker. Please, should you have questions, contact Actxa.EuroCham events May 28: "Using CPTPP as Non-member". The Asia Business Trade Association (ABTA) will be hosting a CPTPP briefing on 28 May to address these two above questions. This briefing will be the first inter-chamber event between the ABTA and British Chamber of Commerce, European Chamber of Commerce and Latin American Chamber of Commerce! The event will bring together members of these four trade groups to talk about how to use CPTPP as a non-member. More information and registration.
