Designing happiness – Case Finland

 The Consulate General of Finland in Hong Kong and Macao and the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong are collaborating on What’s Up Finland? -week co-organized by the Business of Design Week Cityprogram. This year’s theme is “Designing happiness”, that showcases Finland, Finnish culture and know-how in Hong Kong. 

Far, far away from here there is a small country called Finland. A home to fresh air, pure water, clean energy and an abundance of green forests – a home to sustainable solutions. In 2020, Finland is ranked as the happiest country in the world for the third year running. So how does Finland do that?

Especially during this abnormal 2020 pandemic year, it is timely and relevant for Finland setting help on how to improve happiness. The program of the What’s Up Finland -week seminars contains keynote speeches and aims to provide an insight into the happiest country in the world, Finland. Besides seminars, The What’s Up Finland -week also consists of workshops, a cross-cultural event and the Jetour Mall X Finnish Online Christmas Market.
