Finnish Dutch Chamber of Commerce Newsletter, May 2021
May is here which means summer is approaching fast! However, that does not mean that life is slowing down here at the FDCC. On the contrary, we still have interesting things coming up.
Take a closer look at this newsletter and register for upcoming events: YP Nordic Afterwork: Eurovision Challenge and Women in Leadership.
The Eurovision Song Contest is finally taking place in Rotterdam and what better way to get into the mood than with other fellow Nordic Young Professionals! The Nordic Chambers of Commerce in the Netherlands are organising “YP Nordic Afterwork: Eurovision Challenge” on Wednesday 19th of May at 18:30 CET.
What is the challenge all about? Our challenge will consist of two activities which will put your Eurovision knowledge on test.
The Finnish Dutch Chamber of Commerce and the Norwegian Dutch Chamber of Commerce warmly welcome you to the event “Women in Leadership” on June 3rd at 16:00 – 17:30 CET.
This topic is important to us since women have played a crucial role in history even though not always very well recognized. Today, however, female leadership is finally starting to gain recognition, as we have for example seen with the emergency response to Covid-19 in many countries such as Finland, New Zealand, and Norway. Despite the improvements, there is still work to be done and therefore we want to support the topics of gender equality.
Our speakers include Ann-Nina Finne, Global Public Affairs Leader at Ikea, and Ellen Aarvaag Groeneveld, Managing Director at Elkem Maritime Center. More speakers to be announced. The event is moderated by Andrea Orsag.
