Asian Development Bank has recently published a report “Harnessing the Potential of Big Data in Post-Pandemic Southeast Asia”. The final of a four-part series, it looks at the impact of the pandemic on Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and the Philippines to determine how big data can help governments analyze the challenges they face. It outlines policy reforms and recommendations to help capture the benefits of big data, including drawing up digital roadmaps, improving technical infrastructure, and ramping up training to create a skilled workforce to lead the digital transformation.
