Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan

Yes, there is going to be a "change of guard" at FCCJ at the end of this fiscal year, 31 March 2019. After 20 years running the chamber, it is time to hand over to someone younger with fresh new ideas and enthusiasm. To ensure a smooth transition, we have started the recruitment process already now. Please feel free to pass on the announcement if you know someone who would be suitable, and interested!

We had a very successful Mercedes-Benz - Cole Haan Cup on Friday, 5 October with 155 participants from 15 chambers, including 22 from FCCJ. The European Team won, for the third time in a row. Read the report below.

The next event European Joint Chamber Networking Party on Tuesday, 23 October. But the registration dead-line is today, so if you would like to join and have not yet signed up, do so now.

Then in November we have three events, first, on Thursday, 1 November a luncheon Mr. Kjell Forsen, President and CEO of Vaisala Oyj, followed on Monday, 5 November by a Pre-Opening Tour to Metsa Village in Hanno and finally on Thursday, 22 November the 33rd Stora Enso Cup.
