FBC Singapore - Support the Finnish Independence Day Celebrations
Dear members and friends of the Finnish Business Council,
Support the Finnish Independence Day Celebrations
Finnish Association in Singapore (SiSu) aims to help our members adjust to and enjoy Singapore, find social contacts and also to enhance the Finnish culture and traditions. At the moment the association has around 80 families as members.
Honouring traditions, SiSu is organising a Finnish Independence Day Party on Saturday the 8th of December 2018, offering the Finns in Singapore a possibility to celebrate their nation’s 101 years of independence even far away from their home country.
Dinner costs are covered by selling tickets to the event but we are also seeking support from local organisations to cover the additional costs for decorations, live music and other entertainment.
Would your organisation have the possibility to kindly support/sponsor this event?
We provide your organisation with one free ticket to the event (including a BBQ buffet dinner and free flow drinks) for every 500 S$ support but of course also smaller donations are more than welcome. In return for your support, we can also offer your organisation advertisements or another type of visibility of your choosing at the event or at SiSu’s newsletter or Facebook group with almost 500 members.
During previous years there have typically been around 150 guests at the Finnish Independence Day Party organised by SiSu. Last year more than 300 persons celebrated the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence.
Please do not hesitate to contact our treasurer Tommi Rouru, rahasto@sisu.com.sg,
if you would like to know more about our association or the event or discuss the possible support from your organisation and your wishes.
Kind regards,
Pauliina Saari
Chairman
